Standards: 
ESS2.C: The Roles of Water in Earth’s Surface Processes:Water continually cycles among land, ocean, and atmosphere via transpiration, evaporation, condensation and crystallization, and precipitation, as well as downhill flows on land. (MS-ESS2-4) 

Objective: 
I will identify parts of the water cycle and act as a forensic meteorologist to conduct research to identify factors that contribute to rain formation.

Agenda:

Amplified Science: Weather Patterns: Chapter 1: Lesson 2
2. Discussing Galetown Storms: Students share their initial ideas about what could have happened in Galetown to cause more severe storms and are introduced to the claims they will evaluate throughout the unit.

3.Exploring the Weather Patterns Simulation: Students explore the Weather Patterns Simulation to become familiar with its features and review key components of water cycle.

4. Go to quizlet.live (5 min.)

6. Finished Early? Go to Quizlet  to practice vocabulary.

Homework: Due WEDNESDAY
