Perform arithmetic operations, including those involving whole number exponents, in the conventional order when there are no parentheses to specify a particular order (Order of Operations). For example, use the formulas V = s3 and A = 6s2 to find the volume and surface area of a cube with sides of length s = 1/2.

    Write down steps: 
    How to add or subtract fractions that do NOT have a common denominator. 
    1. Find the Least Common multiple of the denominators. 

     2. Multiply the numerator and denominator  by a factor to get the denominator to the LCM. (Giant one). Repeat for other fraction.

     3. Add or subtract numerators and keep the denominator the same.
