I will analyze data from an experiment using the stages of the Scientific Method.

Agenda:
1. Think Now: (5 min)

2. Review the Apple Experiment stages
 (15 min.)
    - You WILL provide evidence and explain why you labeled                                     each state that category. 

3. The Penny Lab: (45- 60 min) 
    -Work with your team to describe the stages in the scientific method in             the The Penny Lab.

            a. Facilitator & Recorder Reporter will read the material section and                          directions for the lab. You will also conduct trial #1.

            b. Task Manager & Resource Manager will conduct trial #2 and read                      the reflection questions after the experiment. 

            c. All group members will work together to answer the reflection                           questions in COMPLETE sentences. (Sentence starters needed.) 
               - I will grade this activity as a GROUP. 
              
5. Silent read if done early. 
   
Homework: Cells article due Thursday

3. The Apple Experiment: (45- 60 min) 
    -Work with your team to describe the stages in the scientific method in             the Apple Experiment story.
            a. Facilitator & Recorder Reporter reads each portion of the story.
            b. Task Manager & Resource Manager refers back to resources for                         support (notebook, articles etc.)
            c. All group members will sequence and label each step that Jessica                      completes from the story in your science notebook. 
                Notes: - You will not glue the stages in your notebook until it has                                    been approved by Ms. Thames
                             - You WILL provide evidence and explain why you labeled                                     each state that category. 

4. Quiz (2-5 min.)
