2. Periods 1 & 3 only: complete reading article: Water Worries from Achieve3000 and Problem-Solution

Independent: (25 minutes)
- You will work independently on an assigned article based on lexile. You will read the article TWO times. The second time you read the article you MUST takes notes on the main ideas about the water cycle. Articles are found on my homepage at the school website or by CLICKING HERE Once you have taken notes you will take to related quiz for your assigned article.

Collaborative: (45 minutes)
1. Review rubric and models for the water cycle foldable.
2. Create a foldable to model and describe the stages of the water cycle.
PERIOD 5 ONLY: If students are done early they will read article: Water Worries from Achieve3000 and complete Problem-Solution graphic organizer. Students must read the STRETCH article only. Students will NOT do the activity. While reading the stretch article, highlight problems in blue and solutions in yellow to help complete the graphic organizer.
