Objective:
I will identify and explain the stages of the Scientific Method.
Agenda:
1. Think Now: (5 min)
2. Review science homework (15 min.)
- Shared reading and reviewing questions.
3. The Apple Experiment: (45- 60 min) -Work with your team to describe the stages in the scientific method in the Apple Experiment story. a. Facilitator & Recorder Reporter reads each portion of the story. b. Task Manager & Resource Manager refers back to resources for support (notebook, articles etc.) c. All group members will sequence and label each step that Jessica completes from the story in your science notebook. Notes: - You will not glue the stages in your notebook until it has been approved by Ms. Thames - You WILL provide evidence and explain why you labeled each state that category. 4. Quiz (2-5 min.) 5. Silent read if done early.
