Apply the properties of operations to generate equivalent expressions. For example, apply the distributive property to the expression 3(2 + x) to produce the equivalent expression 6 + 3x; apply the distributive property to the expression 24x + 18y to produce the equivalent expression 6(4x + 3y); apply properties of operations to y + y + y to produce the equivalent expression 3y. Objective:  I will create equations and inequalities to represent real-world situations in which a value is unknown.  Agenda:  1. Think Now: (10 min) & Table Points 2. CPM: 7.3.4 Problems :                                         7- 114                                        7- 116                                        7- 117, 118 & 119 AA.3 Write inequalities from number lines 3. CPM: 8.3.1 Objective: Students will use variables to write and solve equations.

Continue working on IXL Tutoring today after school from 3:30 - 5:30. 3 tutoring sessions I'm collecting period 2 math workbooks for grading.  Next week CAASPP expectations:	-Pencil (No pens or          mechanical pencils!) - CPM ebook to 7.3.4 (Task Manager & Resource Manager ONLY) - 6th grade expectations - Math workbook turned to chapter 7.	You do NOT need to write down the prompt! Just write your answer. Write an expression that equals 13.  Include the distributive property and an exponent.
